Will at Work

Will builds communications towers for Telus. He has to travel across the Province of British Columbia to do this. This work involves the use of off-road trucks, snow cats, helicopters and airplanes to accomplish jobs. As a lot of people do not believe Will when he tells them what he does, we have created a page of a few photos to give you an idea of what is really involved.

We also use cranes and gin poles
for some types of towers.

Transporting tower sections by barge
A large tower extension project up the coast of British Columbia involved a barge, and a number of Helicopters.
