Motorhome Wanderings

We bought our Granville motorhome about five years ago. The original idea was to follow Will's job around the Province of British Columbia. Will spends about nine months a year on the road putting up communications towers for Telus. Originally, Will would stay in motels and come home for his days off. During the days off, we usually were out on the boat. Will almost never stayed at the condo that we were renting. We finally figured this was a waste of money, and since Marilyn was not working, we decided to try living in a motorhome and follow the job around. We have never looked back.
The nice part about this set up is that when holidays start we do not even have to pack to go away - we just start driving south to Mexico where we just park on a beach somewhere, and make that our home for the next two or three months.

Since we bought the motorhome, we have traveled from the Alaska Panhandle, down as far as Manzanillo, Mexico. It has been in temperatures from minus 25 degrees to plus 30 degrees centigrade. It has handled both extreme temperatures with no problems.
The motorhome has all the options that could be had on a motor home of that vintage. It has a full basement for storage, hydraulic leveling legs, huge water & waste tanks, and is beautifully finished inside. We have added a satellite system that we can receive all the way down South in Mexico, complete with surround sound, that is also inter-connected to our computer system. We tow our car behind us so that when we get to a place where we want to park for a while, we can leave the motorhome  to do our shopping, sightseeing, etc.
